The Golden Age of Couture at the Frist Center was amazing! Girls night out last night was just what the doctor ordered. We were exposed to all the greatest fashions and we realized how so many evening gowns look like present day wedding gowns! It's true, there is nothing new under the sun. The textures, the silhouettes, and the colors are all found in the bridal industry today! How cool? These fashions were from the 1940's and 1950's! It truly was a once in a life time experience and we soaked it all up. If you get a chance to go, it will be worth your time. The last day of the exhibit is September 12th.
